Pet Doors

If properly selected and installed, a pet door can be the answer to giving your pets access that doesn't depend on you. There are many things to consider when choosing a pet door:

  • Size of door
  • Security issues
  • Where to install
  • Other animals coming in
  • Installing in a door or a wall
  • Training pets to use the door
  • Controlling the time of day pets will have access
  • Controlling which pets will be able to use the door

Proper sizing and installation for multiple pet households: Larger dogs may not go through a door in which they must duck or one that scrapes their back because it's too low. A small dog may not be able to use one that's too high or that has a big drop from the exit point to the ground or outside platform. Proper sizing and installation will ensure that big or small, your pets will be comfortable.

Our new MicroLite® is the only collar that offers Smart Link™ technology, allowing your pet to unlock a Smart Door™. The Smart Door locks securely once your pet has passed through, preventing other animals from entering or exiting. smartdoor.cropped.jpg
