TIPS TO GET PAVING STONES CLEAN AS A WHISTLE
How do you get your paving stones to look their best? It’s easy when you know how to get a paving stone clean, and the good news is that this process doesn’t take all day or require a lot of special equipment. The key, of course, is making sure that your paving stones are in good shape before you start; if they are covered in oil or have large cracks or chips, these will be harder to clean and may not be worth the effort. With that in mind, here are some tips on how to clean paving stones so they sparkle without too much work.
1) Give it Time
One of the best things you can do to keep your paving stones clean is give it time. Letting dirt and debris sit on the surface for too long will make it difficult, if not impossible, to remove. So, after any spills or messes, clean them up right away.
2) Warm Water
The most important thing about getting paving stones clean is the type of water you use. Warm, soapy water will help dissolve and remove any debris or dirt that may be embedded in the surface of your stones.
3) Soap
If you have old paving stones, they may start to look dirty after years of use. Fortunately, there are a few things that you can do that will make them look new again in no time.

This will remove any grit that might be embedded in the stone and help with drainage during rain storms. Use a pressure washer or power hose, but don’t point it directly at the stone. Instead, aim for an angle and just let the water flow down over it until all the dirt has been removed.
