Materials used and their significance in bathroom designing

Marble allows you to create a bathroom that is different from the usual, being a non-standard natural material. Its aesthetic and formal value is very high, it is no coincidence that it was often used in ancient bathrooms since the time of the monarchies.

However, it is not a material for everyone . It needs care and maintenance, in addition to the fact that it is not extremely resistant to scratches and stains. Not recommended for those who love practicality, recommended for those who want to create a unique bathroom with this material as the protagonist. The evolution of marble is marble-effect stoneware bathroom ideas in little rock, ar.

Quartz has all the requirements to be applied as a bathroom top. Without problems of joints, stains or scratches. With a very low absorption index and a reduced number of joints, the surface of the bathroom will be unaltered and unalterable despite its daily use. It has a high resistance (a little less to shocks) and good stability.

The comalta  is an innovative material, ecological and environmentally friendly. Free of lime, cement and epoxy resins, it is made up of  aggregates that come for 40% from certified recycling , thus contributing to environmental sustainability.

It is a breathable material : this means that it does not let the water pass, while the vapor “crosses” the surface, thus maintaining its volume over time. It is also  frost-proof  (it does not change its characteristics in the case of sudden changes in temperature) and  fireproof  ( fire resistant).

The surfaces in Ecomalta, as well as those in Fenix, are particularly  antistatic , thus limiting the accumulation of dust and the consequent time dedicated to cleaning. To clean it, always use neutral, non-aggressive detergents, absolutely avoiding alcohol, acetone, solvents and the like.

Resins

Following various tests it has been shown that the resins have very high chemical / physical resistance to products such as: perfumes, toothpastes, mouthwashes, coffee. They are non-yellowing materials, suitable for indoor and outdoor.

They are not subject to chromatic alterations, even in the face of prolonged exposure to natural and artificial light.

Small differences in color, size, thickness, or small dots and air bubbles that may be present are molded, giving authenticity and personality to each object, as happens with stone or glass. They are less resistant to products such as acetone.

They are non-toxic and non-porous, compact, easy to clean and eco-friendly materials.
